Members of the Absolute sales and installation team will be showcasing their AV system integration skills and knowledge at Cambridge University this week.

They will be joined by top international manufacturers such as Canon, Epson, Hitachi, Panasonic and Sony for the second annual AV Expo hosted by the University.

The event is an opportunity for the various departments, faculties and colleges within the University to get hands-on with the latest presentation and learning technologies. This year there is a special focus on energy efficient products.

“We always receive very positive comments and enthusiastic visitors to our stand wanting to create the perfect learning environment for their students.” says Technical manager Matt Foster.

He continues, “They come to us for advice about many products ranging from projectors and screens, to wireless presentation solutions, to room control systems, digital signage and audio systems. And because we’re manufacturer-independent, this allows us to provide impartial advice and flexible solutions. Visitors welcome our straight forward approach and they like the fact that they can also rent equipment from us for a short term project. Or even to test a concept.”

The event takes place at the Roger Needham Building, which is located on the University’s West Cambridge site.
